UND's graduate education in Nursing offers many avenues for students.
Advanced practice nurses have become an integral part of the nation's health care system, providing key services to a wide variety of patients/populations. Nurse scientists continue to enhance learning and care through their research. Additionally, nurse educators are needed to meet the demands of the increasing nurse faculty shortage.
Why Choose UND Graduate Nursing Programs?
The UND College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines (CNPD) recognizes that practicing nurses may not be able to relocate to complete their graduate education.
CNPD offers many of its graduate courses — and even entire programs — online (excluding anesthesia coursework), with clinical placements as near the students' home location as possible. Students take their courses online and meet a few times during their program at "intensives" — held either on campus, at a Regional Nursing Research Conference or virtually, depending on the program.
