CNPD Staff Sparky Awards

Purpose: To recognize and celebrate staff members in the CNPD who consistently demonstrate excellence, dedication, teamwork, and a positive impact behind the scenes.

Who can nominate: Any member of the College of Nursing & Professional Disciplines (CNPD) staff, faculty, and administration in the College.

Award Eligibility

To be considered for this award, staff must meet the following criteria:

• Employed at UND for 2 years or greater
• Have not been recognized in the same award category in the past five years

Overview & Timeframe

• Nominations open: February 1
• Nomination deadline: March 1 at 11:59 p.m.

Nomination Instructions

The nominator must submit the DocuSign nomination form by the deadline. Contents of the nomination form should include:

• Nominee name
• Department Unit
• Nominator name
• 1–2-page letter covering:
• Describe how this person demonstrates excellence.
• Provide a specific example or impact
• How they embody the spirit of the CNPD values and civility commitments

Selection

A committee of three CNPD staff members.

Recognition

• Recognition will take place at the Spring CNPD S.P.A.R.K. Event
• Awardees will receive a SPARK award engraved in their honor
• Formal announcements may appear in the CNPD internal and external communications
